ON-FIRE MÜLLER SETS NEW RECORDS

Thomas Müller's opener in the 2-0 victory over Hertha Berlin was a special goal for a number of reasons. First, it was Bayern's 2,300th Bundesliga home goal. Second, after 14 matchdays Müller has already equalled his personal best for a league season (13 goals). He has now scored in five competitive fixtures in a row, equalling another personal record. In the all-time FCB rankings the Germany forward is now ahead of Paul Breitner (83): Müller has scored 84 Bundesliga goals and is tenth on the list, only one short of Lothar Matthäus (85).
