Munich, 4 August 2015: FC Bayern München and its partner AUDI have announced a further extension to their long-running partnership. The new agreement, concluded prior to the expiry of the current contract, covers the period through 30 June 2025.
The extension was today announced by the respective chairman, Rupert Stadler of AUDI AG and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge of FC Bayern München AG, prior to kick-off in the AUDI Cup semi-final between FC Bayern and AC Milan in front of a capacity crowd at the Allianz Arena.
“We are pleased and very proud to be continuing our current partnership with AUDI into the next decade,” commented Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. “AUDI is a magnificent partner for us here in Germany and also around the world. We will work together very innovatively in the years to come. FC Bayern München and AUDI AG have been exclusive partners since 2002. Furthermore, the Ingolstadt-based automotive concern is an 8.33% stockholder in FC Bayern München AG.
