Training and posing

After two days off, FC Bayern returned to training again on Tuesday afternoon. Carlo Ancelotti had his side practising passing and match drills as the team prepare for their DFB Cup first round tie against third-division side Chemnitzer FC (Saturday, 9:30 AM ET). The Reds will have four training sessions ahead of the game in Saxony, one of which is open to fans at Säbener Straße on Wednesday (10:30 local time).

A bit of fun

Before the squad could turn their attention to training, Thomas Müller and his teammates had two other important dates on their calendars. The team had their official team photo for 2017/18 taken at the Allianz Arena, with the whole squad, including the injured Juan Bernat and James Rodriguez posing for the photo together.

On target

Following that, there was the official DFL Media Day to signify that the new season really is just around the corner. Ten days before Bayern open the 2017/18 Bundesliga campaign at home to Bayer Leverkusen, the team had to pose in front of numerous cameras for official trailers, autograph cards and other recordings. They especially had fun with a bit of target practice, where everyone wanted to prove themselves.
